CIY and Round Hill Arts Center Instructor - Mudchurch Pottery
Erin McQuary is a local area potter from Hamilton Virginia,she has been practicing all areas of pottery since 2012. Erin is currently an instructor at Round Hill Arts Center where she teaches a beginners wheel throwing class, she is also owner and operator of her home studio Mudchurch Pottery.
Erin’s body of work focuses on functional pottery for everyday use. She creates pieces that are meant to share between family and friends, whether it be a serving dish for a holiday meal or that special mug for your morning coffee. Erin touches her pots every step, from conception to the final firing and lives by the philosophy: surround yourself with handcrafted things-with art-and your life will change.
